Applications
The NIF is one of our older Piggy Back units. It is no longer in production, but for the benefit of our customers who still use these units, we provide the list of features, wiring diagrams and software downloads below.

The NIF controller eliminates the traditional nitrous push button. It measures the throttle position, RPM, manifold pressure, and applies the nitrous in a "proportional" or "progressive" way, which is freely programmable. This is equivalent to programming the amount of nitrous power at every engine operating point. In addition, the nitrous cutoff point is programmable, which eliminates the sometimes disastrous effect of hitting the rev-limit. Tests have shown that better acceleration times are achieved, because the loss of traction (and direction) is avoided. The NIF is used to eliminate the turbo lag, by applying nitrous until boost pressure is achieved.
